Blaine Hale has always enjoyed a variety of athletics. His passion for the game of soccer began, at the competitive level, with Sparta United and continued with Utah Valley Rangers. Positive experiences and great training opportunities with both clubs and the ODP program lead him to Iowa Western where he played for a semester before leaving to serve a LDS mission in Moscow, Russia. After a little bit of traveling and a unique opportunity to train with a Russian university futbal team, he underwent a few surgeries which ended his playing career.
While completing his BA from Brigham Young University an opportunity to coach was brought to his attention and lead to the founding of the Dynamo soccer club.
